Leadership in the IT sector
Leaders need to recognize that the old top-down leadership approach is obsolete. Employees demand more freedom and decision-making authority. An employee who can freely develop his potential is motivated to top performance. This factor is becoming increasingly important, especially in the IT sector, since the technical expertise does not lie with the manager, but with the employee.
lead employees properly
A leader is not born overnight. Determination, flexibility and social skills make a good manager, as well as the constant willingness to develop personally.
Unfortunately, the technical know-how alone is not enough to successfully lead a team or a department. The human aspect often goes unnoticed.
How do you distribute tasks in the team? Do you also allow employee opinions? Do you set specific goals? Are you critical?
Do you have the right tools to lead your team effectively?
