5 dimensions of New Work

| Employees, Processes

New Work is not a temporary working model - it is the sustainable path to the future in the workplace.

The following 5 dimensions of New Work form the cornerstones for modern work in your company.

  1. Individuality Employees must be seen as individuals with different values, goals and desires. Every opinion has to count, the work performance has to be evaluated on the basis of the corresponding people. The collective mindset that one system fits all employees has had its day. Individual people need individual solutions.
  2. Leadership bottom up instead of top down - promote instead of demanding. Managers are now increasingly taking on the role of coaches. Blind obedience without the right to speak your mind will die out. The hierarchies in companies are becoming flatter - employees are not subordinates, they are colleagues of the managers.
  3. Agility In order to be able to react more quickly to events on the market, quick decisions and quick implementation are required. Flat hierarchies and employee self-determination support this project enormously. Processes must be easy to adapt - rigid constructs have had their day.
  4. Flexibility Hybrid working and home office create more flexibility in everyday work. The question of when and where we work is becoming less and less important. Not the working time, but the results are the criteria by which the work performance is measured. However, rules and framework conditions must be created for this.
  5. Office concepts Individual offices are a thing of the past. Employees demand more openness in relation to their workplace. Open workspaces and creative spaces create exchange between colleagues, promote creativity and the flow of information. However, places of retreat must also be provided for quiet work.
